There’s no excuse to not visit Budapest this year!
Budapest is a city that everyone should visit at least once! I am pretty certain that if you’re like me you will end up going back for more and more. It’s a fantastic place for either a short city break or for a week long holiday.
What people love about the city is that is mixes the old world charm so easily with a culture and culinary scene that is vibrant. I know that for some it might not have been your first thought for a break but that’s why I am here to give you some inspiration, I think you’ll be sending me an email to thank me after you go! You will definitely thank me for telling you to book the Corinthia Hotel Budapest, this hotel is one of the finest places you will ever stay. If you’re staying here then you’re off to a flying start!
Here’s a little taste of what you can expect in Budapest:
The Ruin Pubs
This has to be one of my favourite things to do in Budapest. The ruin pubs are one of the most unique things about entertainment in the city. The pubs can be found in buildings that used to be abandoned, they are a great place to sit and watch the world go by at anytime of the day.
Hungary has some truly mouth watering food which you can find at any local restaurant. If you want to be a bit more classy then there are a number of Michelin star restaurants for you to choose from. These places serve the classic Hungarian dishes we all love but with a twist and tough of elegance.
Award Winning Nightlife
That’s right, this place has one awards for having such a fantastic nightlife! You’ve got some fantastic places to choose from; A38 was ranked number one of the ‘100 great bars of the work’ by the lonely planet in 2012, then there’s Boutiq Bar, which cam in the list of ‘World’s 50 best bars’ from Drinks International.
Have you been to Budapest? I would love to hear about your experiences and the things you loved to see and do there. All you have to do is pop down your views int he comment box below, I love reading them and think it’s great if we can all share to make the visit better for others. Safe travels!
